Concept demo / field robotics operations
RobotOps explores how a field team could prove a deployment is ready before anyone travels, then recover deliberately when something fails.
Suggested walkthrough · 90 sec Open DEP-1042, clear its gate, then test field recoveryWhat this demo is
This is a deliberately lightweight, AI-assisted prototype built from public information to show how I approach an unfamiliar operational problem: identify the important decision, make its inputs explicit, and build the smallest useful workflow around it.
It is not a proposal for replacing an existing system I have not seen. My first real step would be shadowing operators and learning where deployments actually lose time.
- Readiness should be proved from checks, evidence and available resources—not selected manually.
- Field operators should see the next useful action, not the whole back-office system.
- An incident should change the deployment plan and leave useful context for engineering.
What I’d validate next
- What currently forces the whole team to attend early?
- Which checks could customers complete themselves?
- What evidence is genuinely useful to engineering after a deployment?
